Admission cancellation 15 days before last date of admission, 100% Fee Refund

UGC announced new guidelines in case of cancellation of admission. This shall be applicable to UG, PG & Research programs run by universities under the section 2(f) of UGC Act. together with the colleges under the affiliating domain proclaim as deemed to be universities under section 3 of UGC Act.






Now, there is no need to submit original academic and personal documents by the students at the time of submission of admission form.

Higher educational institutes can’t make it compulsory for the students to buy institutional prospectus.

Students will have the right to refund of fee from the institute if they want to cancel their admission.

Following Rules will be applicable for refund of fee in case of cancellation of admission from an institution:-

  1. 100% Fee Refund- If student decides to withdraw 15 days or more before the last date of admission. Not more than 5% of the fees paid by the student, subject to a maximum of 5000 rs  will be deducted as the processing charges.
  2. 90% Fee Refund- If student decides to withdraw less than 15 days before the last date of admission.
  3. 80% Fee Refund- If student decides to withdraw within 15 days or less than after the last date of admission.
  4. 50% Fee Refund- If student decides to withdraw less within 15 days after the last date of admission.
  5. Nil – If student decides to withdraw after 30 days of the last date of admission.
